Raja Kumar from Singapore concluded in Paris. Delegates from over <strong>200<\/strong> jurisdictions participated in these discussions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Results of the plenary session:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol type=\"1\">\n<li>Russia is <strong>prohibited<\/strong> from participating in meetings of FATF-Style Regional Bodies as a member of the FATF and is also prohibited from participating in current and future FATF project groups.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>FATF members have agreed to publish draft guidance on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fatf-gafi.org\/publications\/fatfrecommendations\/documents\/public-consultation-r24.html\">Recommendation 24<\/a>, to help countries and the private sector implement enhanced FATF <strong>beneficial ownership<\/strong>, requirements to avoid hiding illegal activities behind non-transparent corporate structures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The FATF approved the release of a public consultation paper on proposed changes to the transparency of beneficial ownership of legal arrangements by February 2023.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>FATF members also approved a report on illicit proceeds from the supply chains of fentanyl and related synthetic opioids and discussed a report on money laundering through art, antiquities, and other cultural property to be completed by February 2023.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>New jurisdictions subject to <strong>increased monitoring<\/strong> are the <strong>Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC)<\/strong>, <strong>Mozambique<\/strong> un <strong>Tanzania<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jurisdictions <strong>no longer<\/strong> under increased monitoring are <strong>Nicaragua<\/strong> un <strong>Pakistan<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Myanmar<\/strong> has been added to the <strong>Call for Action<\/strong> list of jurisdictions. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Useful links:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fatf-gafi.org\/\">FATF official website<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fatf-gafi.org\/publications\/fatfgeneral\/documents\/outcomes-fatf-plenary-october-2022.html\">Outcomes of the FATF Plenary<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fatf-gafi.org\/publications\/high-risk-and-other-monitored-jurisdictions\/documents\/increased-monitoring-october-2022.html\">Jurisdictions under increased monitoring<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fatf-gafi.org\/publications\/high-risk-and-other-monitored-jurisdictions\/documents\/call-for-action-october-2022.html\">High Risk Jurisdictions with a Call to Action<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elina Nebritova<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" translation-block\"><em>Atbilst<\/em> team<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On October 21, 2022, the first FATF plenary meeting chaired by T.
